Research

For my Bachelor thesis, I dissected and analyzed a banking malware, and during my Master thesis, I developed a scalable system for automated function similarity matching on binaries with unknown/unlabeled functions. Although my general topic of interest is reverse engineering, I specialize in automated bug finding (i.e., fuzzing) during my PhD.

Projects

I supervised Bachelor and Master theses on fuzzing, but I also supervised external theses on Malware research (e.g., in cooperation with VMRay). If you're interested in these topics, feel free to drop me an e-mail.
