Research
My research focuses on anonymity and privacy enhancing technologies. In particular, I am interested in distributed communication systems that allow to protect sensitive information, e.g., use identities, even in the presence of large-scale adversaries. Examples of these are traffic analysis attacks against Tor or LTE networks, as well as countermeasures against this. Further aspects of my research cover human aspects of such systems.
