I'm interested in usable privacy, data protection and (counter) surveillance. My interdisciplinary research tries to build bridges between legal privacy requirements and empirical research on web tracking; technical aspects of online profiling and its effects with respect to theories from media science and philosophy or data protection/privacy enhancing technologies and its application in real world systems.
