My research interests are towards the goal of improving automation in IT-Security. A particular focus is on machine learning; as it provides new tools to improve existing methods and enables new approaches to old problems. But, due to the complexity of the problems in IT-Security automation alone will be difficult - to bridge the gap interplay between tooling and human experts is another topic of interest.

If you're interested in applying Machine Learning to problems in IT-Security and looking for a Seminar, Bachelor’s or Master’s Thesis, just drop me an mail or stop by at my office.
